WHAT IS QWO®?

QWO is a prescription medicine used to treat moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks.

What are results with QWO?

Visible results may be achieved in 10 weeks. In clinical studies, women received 3 treatments of QWO, 21 days apart.

How many women have taken part in QWO studies?

QWO has been studied in more patients than any other FDA-approved injectable cellulite treatment, with over 1,800 women participating.

In two pivotal phase 3 clinical studies of adult women with moderate to severe cellulite, 424 were treated with QWO and 419 received placebo.

How many treatments will I receive?

If your aesthetic specialist determines that QWO is right for you, she or he will decide on a treatment plan, including total number of treatments.

Each treatment visit may include up to 2 treatment areas. QWO injections will be given 21 days apart for 3 treatment visits.

How is QWO given?

QWO is injected by your aesthetic specialist directly into targeted dimples in the buttocks using a small needle.

You should not receive QWO if you are allergic to any collagenase or the ingredients in QWO, or have an active infection in the treatment area.

How long do the injections take?

At each office visit, injections take as little as 10 minutes.

Are there any side effects?

QWO may cause serious side effects including allergic (hypersensitivity) reactions, including anaphylaxis, and injection site bruising.

The most common side effects of QWO include: injection site bruising, pain, areas of hardness, itching, redness, discoloration, swelling and warmth in the treatment area.

These are not all the possible side effects of QWO.

How much bruising can I expect after each treatment?

QWO may cause serious side effects: allergic (hypersensitivity) reactions, including anaphylaxis and injection site bruising.
In clinical trials, women required no post-treatment downtime. Most bruising lessened after each treatment and resolved in less than 21 days.

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take?

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and herbal supplements. Especially tell your healthcare provider if you take a medicine that prevents the clotting of your blood (antiplatelet or anticoagulant).

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Do not receive QWO if you: are allergic to collagenase or to any of the ingredients in QWO, or have an active infection at the treatment area.

How does QWO work?

It’s not fully understood how QWO works in moderate to severe cellulite. The enzymes in QWO—called collagenases—are believed to target a structural cause under your skin.

It’s thought that QWO works in 3 ways: releasing fibrous bands, redistributing fat cells, and stimulating the growth of new collagen.

Some women and their aestheticians agreed that after receiving QWO treatment, they saw decreased dimpling. The third treatment’s results were evaluated 28 days later.

With over 1,800 women participating in the study, QWO has seen more patients than any other FDA-approved cellulite treatment.

424 adult women with moderate to severe cellulite were treated with QWO and 419 got placebo in two pivotal phase 3 clinical investigations. Each lady had three treatments, separated by 21 days.

Allergic (hypersensitivity) reactions, including anaphylaxis, and injection site bruising, are two major side effects of QWO.

Cellulite is not your fault!

It is a natural part of life.

Cellulite affects the majority of women at some point in their lives–roughly 9 out of 10 women.
That implies that while your hard exercises and excellent eating habits are great for your fitness and overall health, they won’t help you get rid of cellulite.

If you truly want to get rid of cellulite, you must first understand what causes it.
