Fractional CO2 Laser
Fractional CO2 Laser
Have you tried other laser therapies and did not get the results anticipated? Are the signs of aging becoming more apparent and conventional therapies such as Botox and Fillers are not correcting those stubborn static lines? Is your face losing its tone and does it feel less full as compared to a couple of years ago?
Additional benefits of these procedures include improvement to skin tonicity (tightening) and in the reduction of lines and wrinkles due to the new thickened bands of collagen created through the treatments. Where non-ablative lasers require numerous treatments and the results can be marginal, many individuals are taking advantage of the far more effective and dramatic results achieved by Fractional CO2 Lasers – see for yourself the difference Hollywood Body Laser Center can achieve for you! CO2 Fractional (deep resurfacing)
- Moderate lines & wrinkles
- Benign pigmented lesions & dyschromia

The practical solution for your client’s skin resurfacing needs If these issues concern you, you may want to consider our Fractional CO2 laser treatments. These can actually correct skin conditions that were before impossible to solve such as acne scars, static wrinkles, sagging of the skin and loss of tissue. The aim of ablative Fractional CO2 laser treatments is to selectively vaporize the whole epidermal layer and the elastosic dermis, with heat being conducted to the underlying dermis. These lasers have a dual effect in that they produce dermal remodeling (neo collagen production) and epidermal vaporization that causes an immediate effect. Fractional means that only a small portion of the skin is ablated at one time, typically only 5-10% of the skin treated. This partial ablation is achieved by taking the CO2 gas light energy and fractionate it by having a single pulse be broken into hundreds of small rays of heat energy that coagulate and evaporate the skin in a very controlled manner. The total amount of skin that can be ablated within a year is 20%, otherwise the effects of ablation are such that the skin cannot heal itself due to the excessive wounding. Higher wavelengths (1410nm – 1550nm) are used to achieve the depth necessary for the repair. Results of this epidermal vaporisation include clearing of vascular lesions, pigmented lesions, and scars; all of these results are visible upon re-epithilialisation of the skin (< 10 days). The dermal inflammation caused by the CO2 laser releases mediators for collagen, stimulates new collagen production (1 week) and neo-collagen production for over a year! By producing additional collagen and eliminating vascular and pigmented lesions as well as recontouring scars this becomes one of the most comprehensive facial rejuvenation treatments currently in existence. Anesthesia is required prior to the treatments but it is only topical and mainly for the patient’s comfort. Downtime after the procedure can range from 2-5 days depending upon the patient and the aggressiveness of the treatment performed. Simple post-procedure instructions allow for complete repair within 7-10 days and results continue for over one year after the treatment. Turn back time and regain beautiful, young healthy skin!
